Howling and annoying

Question
Hi there!
I have a male cat - orange tabby named Chai.  He is 7 years old and neutered.  I have had him since he was 1 and I am his third owner.  My fiance and I have been living together for about 3 years and we got a kitten named Aria about 2 years ago. The two cats play alot together but Chai gets angry sometimes even though he instigates alot of the playing.  I feed them RIGHT before I go to sleep so they have food for the night and their litter box is clean and they have no issues.  The only problem Im having right now is that Aria will sleep on our bed the WHOLE night thru but Chai scratches at the walls and baseboards, howls at the window and jumps on the bed and meows at me in the middle of the night.  I have tried spraying him with water and he hates it and knows that he is doing something wrong but STILL does it.  My fiance is getting really edgy on this and was even talking about giving him away.  I love this cat, but he isnt too friendly to my fiance.  Last night we were woken up about 15 times to him scratching baseboards and howling.  Any suggestions? I dont want to give him away!!!
Thanks in advance,
Melissa

Answer
Hi Melissa:
Well, can you exercise him more... Get some play cat toys that you can exercise him... He must be sleeping during the day...If you work can you come home at lunch time?
This is a hard one...

Another alternative would be some herbs to calm him down.

You can search your local pet store or the internet for the following ingredients..

The original Calming herbal liquid formulated specifically for cats & dogs.
Containing potent herbs such as Chamomile and Valerian, this blend allows the animal to naturally unwind and relax.

Good Luck on this/  sorry, I can't be more help to you...

Best wishes..
