Question
I have a year old Toy Poodle. He is always busy scratching his ears. You can see it is really bothering him! He even rubs his face against the carpet. The vet says it is maybe too much hair growing in the inside. It doesn't help cutting it! Don't know what to do anymore.

Answer
Hi Ruchel,
I hope you are well.  It sounds like he may have an allergy more so than an ear infection.  I feel this also because you mention that he is rubbing his face on the carpet.  It is important to boost his immune system to stop allergies from getting hold.  Add some natural canine supplements to his diet.  You can purchase some Colloidal Silver from a health food store and damped a cotton pad with it and wipe out his ears.  Do this twice a day for 2 weeks.
You can also look at some homeopathic remedies for allergies.  Dogs are prone to hayfever just as we are. You can purchase a homeopathic remedy and give at children's dose.  Also, Australian Bush Flower Remedies - a blend of Spinifex and Green Essence would work really well.  Give 7 drops, directly ito mouth, twice per day for 2 weeks, then reassess.
Keep me posted on how things go and what you are trying.
I hope this is helpful.
Silva.
