Question
I have just spent $300.00 dollars for a blood test and exam and have no answer.  6yr old border starting excessive drolling, throwing up water and food, blood test everything looks normal, not acting perky but alert.  Have not changed food or anything.  This has been going on for 3 days!

Answer
Hi Denise,
You need to play investigator here and your vet should be helping you
-there are many reasons why dogs could vomit. Were there x-rays? Was there a barium series? Is there diarrhea? Can your dog hold anything down? Your vet needs to go over all of this and should have.
There could of been a change in the formula of dog food. Have you checked?
Dogs can vomit for many reasons- some reasons could be:
pancreatic issues, gastritis, ingesting non-food stuff, is there an intestinal blockage?? Very important to check.
ANXIETY, eating too quickly, new unfamiliar dog foods that don't agree with them (not human foods) also.
Good luck and I hope it is resolved asap.
