Answer
Dear Ramya,

It is very hard to tell you what to get for your pug because I have no idea what is available there, but I can suggest that you start by reading my book, "Simple Steps to a Healthy Pet" which you can download from: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B008LR2H9G/ref=rdr_kindle_ext_tmb
If you don't have a Kindle, there is a free app that you can download from:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/feature.html?ie=UTF8&docId=1000493771 . The book can be downloaded for free from the Amazon lending library if you are an Amazon Prime member, but even if you're not, at a cost of on;y $7.97, the information that you will find in it can save you a small fortune in vet expenses over the life of your dog, especially when he already has skin issues, plus, if I can write a book (easy read) about the subject, it is highy unlikely that I can solve your problem in this brief space.

If Thyroid is the issue, look for supplements that are high in iodine like those containing sea kelp and sea weed.

Eliminate wheat, corn, soy, dairy and beef from his diet, and if you can prepare a balanced raw food diet, it would help immensely. There are recipes on line, and a very good book is "Dr Khalsa's Natural Dog" by Dr Deva Khalsa.

I don't know if vets push the use of internal flea and parasite control, or spot on the back products there in India, but if they do, and you are using them...STOP.

There are many many pure essential oil s produced there, so research those for both pest control and help healing skin issues. Why import from the US when there are so many things available there.

That's about it. I hope this helps.
