convict tang

Hi hows it going? At the moment i have a 24G Nano tank with a Maroon Clownfish a Scooter Blenny, Cleaner Shrimp, and im looking to upgrade to at least 55G in the near future. Would it be wrong to buy a Convict Tang thats around 7cm in size and house it in my Nano tank for now?

Hi Paul. A convict tang would be fine to house in the size tank you have now, but will soon outgrow it. As long as you are planning to put him in a larger tank in the near future I do not see this as being a problem. Go for it! Just watch out for the maroon clown. They can be a little territorial in a smaller tank or in any tank for that matter. Mine attacks me when I put my hand in the tank!
