Recommended Aquarium Lighting

Im looking into buying some new lights for my aquarium. I have a standard 55gal, 4 feet long tank. I have some live rock in it now with some basic fish. Eventually I would like to have a few corals. My question is am I better off going with a t5 HO 216watt 4 lamp system or a 4 lamp Power compact 260watt system?

I do have a question for you...

What kind of corals are you going to want to keep?

And regardles of that answer, the maintenance routinePower compacts are not ver efficient, for the amount of light you get.

I would urge youy to stick with T5HO or Metal Halide.
