Hemrit Crabs

Hi I am visiting the Caribbean and I want to ship a few hermit crabs for my saltwater fishtank.  What would be the proper way and can I introduce a wild hemrit crab to my fish tank?

Hello Javier,

I beg you to contact the local figh and game/wildlife representatives to your home country and the caribbean island you plan to visit.   Maybe you can contact marine life collectors in that area to see if they can help you with the collecting and shipping of creatures that they know are safe as well as making sure you are not breaking any import/export rules

It is extremely dangerous to take and import wildlife that you are not 100% sure will not present any danger to your local environement if it were to escape or get loose.

It is also not good to promote the taking of wildlfe or anything for that matter that does not belong to you.  If you and every visitor were to take one thing then what would be left for other visitors in the future.

I can not suggest ways to do this. I hope yo uunderstand.
