I am going on a vacation. I want to know how long can a fish goldfish or bala shark stay alive without food ..if not fed.. thanks

Vacation fish feeder   Tropical freshwater fish including Goldfish and Bala Sharks may survive up to 2 weeks without being fed, because they can survive on algae and other micro-organisms already in their tank... not that you should go this long without caring for your fish.

There are vacation feeders available on the market, to help remedy this problem. See the image I included.
