Question
anemone
anemone
I have had my tank for quite some time now and I've just recently started having problems with my anemone. For about two weeks now my bubble tip has not came out. It is closed up and my tomato clown keeps trying to get in it but it will not open for him. I also have a long tentacle and it seems to be doing just fine. Do you know why this is happening and have any advise on what to do?

Answer
Brad,  Believe it or not sometimes clowns actually can rub an anemone to death. I use to have one that would move around the tank to get away from it. I would probably add another for your clown. We don't want your anemone to dye and cause everything to go off in your tank because of the toxins after death. The problem is most host anemone's for clowns are not kept in captivity but, I am going to send you a site with some others that they like and are captive kept and even bred. Good Luck, Tina
