Second, I have a sailfin tank and hippo tank in my tank there fine together could I also put in a yellow tang. Thanks for the help.

Answer
Hi Mike. Lighting is not important for the health of feather duster worms. It may need a little time to adjust to the day/night cycle in your tank or it is finding more plankton is available to feed upon during the hours of darkness. I wouldn't worry too much about it unless it stops coming out all together. Also make sure nothing is bothering it during the day. Although you have 3 others there may be an inhabitant that doesn't like where you put this one.
You are very lucky that you aren't having any disputes between your tangs yet. Hippo tangs are one of the more peaceful species however even they can become a little territorial when it comes to feeding space. Adding another tang may be pushing your luck. It is not uncommon for disputes to arise over feeding territory and it is usually recommended that you only keep one tang in a tank of 48 inches. As these fish get larger they will become more territorial and I have seen a yellow tang pick on another tang until it was almost dead in a 75 gallon tank where they were the only inhabitants in the tank. It is better not to press your luck.
