tiny white slug

Question
I have a reef tank that has been set up for about a year, the only other creatures is my tank other than coral is a few peppermint shrimp and a sea hare. The other day I noticed a very small white flat creature moving around the glass. It is round at the top and the end of the body has a sort of split tail.It is about 1/5 of an inch in length.  I am uncertain but fairly convinced this is not a copepod as I have had these as well. It moves in the same fashion as a slug and is only found on the glass. I would appreciate any help.
Thanks in advance-
Nicole

Answer

Saltwater Flatworm sp.
Hi Nicole,

From your description, perhaps it's a Flatworm.

Regarding Flatworms, typically they don't pose a problem, and are best left alone... or selectively siphoned off (mainly) soft corals, out of reef systems, if you have a reef system.

See the attached image, to see if this is what you have.

Best Regards,
Dave
