My Glow light Tetra needs to go to Heaven

Question
Hi Karen, About three weeks ago I awoke around three in the morning to drink water. Before going back to bed I checked in on my friends. I noticed that one of my Glow Light Tetras was being bullied by two Dwarf Gouramis. The Glow Light Tetra was badly hurt.He Floats and spins on his side and breathed rapidly. I seperated him and tried to treat him the best I know  how. Well its been this long and I don't see any improvement. His suffering is just to much and he needs to go to heaven. How can I humanely put him to sleep?
Also last week I wrote to you about my plecostamus  that had the problem with the big belly and the balloon that was growing from his rear end. Well he recovered from that condition and is doing well. I tried to post the pictures in the Tropicalresource.net for you to see it but had difficulty registering, it kept turning down the passwords I gave.
             Thank you,
            Tiboronsito

Answer
Dear Tiboronsito,
What a terrible thing to wake up to in the early hours of morning!

Poor little tetra. I have done much research before about the most humane way to put a fish to sleep and it seems everyone agrees on using "The oil of cloves method"
I highly recommend you visit this website where you can see a video of a koi being put under the anesthetic to treat an ulcer as well as read about how to do the overdose of the anethestic to humanely put fish out of their misery...Please visit-
"www.fishtanksandponds.info/care-maintenance/health/euthanasia.htm"

-This is your best bet above all.-

I'm sorry to hear about your Glowlight tetra. I know exactly how bad you can feel.

Only my very best wishes,
Karen~
(PS- if your password doesn't work on TR then perhaps you should try re-setting it.)
