Fish soar

Hi,  my fish has three little soars on his side
And has one more on the other side
They all are red and look like they are
Full of puss like pimples and he isn't swimming
Around like usual
Please tell me what to do

What kind of fish are we talking about? If the sores are red, it can be ammonia and/or nitrite poisoning. What are your water perimeters? Ammonia and nitrites have to be zero at all times. If they are elevated, the fish will get burns from it. The fastest and easiest way to bring the levels down is by doing large water changes. Test your water for both chemicals, and let me know what the readings are. Not only do I need to know what kind of fish, but I need to know how many fish you have, what size is the tank, are you using a filter, how long has the tank been up and running? The more information you give me the better I can help you.
