Question
I have around 20 molly fry in a 20 gal tank and there doing very well and the water quality it right on but I heard that frequent water changes are necessary and can even cause growth spurts. is that true and is there anything else I should do

Answer
Hi Matt,  There are many different myths about molly fry but just recently my dalmation molly had around 15 fry so i tried different things to see what worked best. I would change your water about 10 percent once a week because if you do it any more often than that it can interrupt your cycle and causes your nitrite nitrate and pH levels to rise. But fry are really hardy once adapted to the tank so they should be healthy either way. Feed them at least twice a day and feed them either hykari first bites or small fry drops. Either can be purchased at your local pet store.
