i just got 2 aftican dwarf frogs. i have some questions about them...
1.how often do they loose there skin?
2. do they realy eat there skin?
3. how big do they get?
4.how do you tell male from female when there young?

Answer
African Dwarf frogs will shed their skin..when ever they grow it will happen ocassionally. It may look like he is losing some body parts but that is just an illusion your frog is actually shedding. If the filter does not catch the skin he most likely will eat it.  

The adult size of an African Dwarf Frog is about 1 1/2 inches.

Males are slim and when they mature they will develop a tiny gland behind each of their front legs. The gland is called a post-axillary subdermal gland.
The females of the species tend to be a bit larger than the males. They will become pear shaped when mature and their abdomen fills with eggs. Females usually have a tad longer tail than the males.
