Fish ID

Question
Hi!  I m not sure if I m asking the right person coz I have no idea whether this question is to do with fresh or salt water fish. See I took these to pix:  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:MG_5323.jpg  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:MG_5274.jpg  at the Melbourne Aquarium. I would very much appreciate any information you could give me as to their identification. Thanks a lot, Pete

Hi Peter;

The 5274 looks like a freshwater catfish. It's hard to tell for sure what type as I can't tell the size or the shape of the body and fins very well.

The 5323 looks like a saltwater fish of some type. You could ask on the saltwater forum and someone there might be able to help you. http://saltaquarium.about.com/mpboards.htm
