Mollies are gone

Question
Hello Samantha~
Nope...NO JOKE!!! Another student and I have checked the rocks, plants, and small boat that is in the tank and NOTHING! No evidence that anything ever exsisted except the two that are in the tank now. I know it sounds "fishy" but it is TRUE! I too thought that the filter would have maybe taken care of the remains but like you said...after checking everything...no evidence of this happening either.
Are mollies aggresive or anything? I wondered if the final one could be pregnant and was becoming territorial possibly.
As a first time tank owner, this has really gotten me a little freaked!! How does two fish just disappear over night and NOT leave any trace?
"Nemo" story possibly? LOL

Question -
I have a 20 gallon take and put 2 female mollies, one male mollie, and a platta in the tank as instructed by the pet store. This tank is for my classroom and we all the sudden found that one female and the male are GONE! No evidence left in the tank or filter of their disappearance. WHAT HAPPENED TO THEM?

Answer -
Hi Cheryl,
Are you joking with me? Hmmmm........ If your not this sounds very strange to me. You could have some fiecty fish that actually ate each other, but this is uncommon with mollies and what I beleave your trying to tell me is a Platy not a Platta. Your filter could have demolished the fish if powerful enough but also probably not. Do you have decorations they could hide behind and di you check o see if they're dead some where like in a corner? I'm sorry but this completle puzzles me,
         Samantha

Answer
Hi again Cheryl,
My only guess is that they were eaten. No molly aren't aggressive fish so this has got me stumped. Well I guess you'll have to call the police and say your fish ran away from home lol.
I'm sorry but I've never heard of this,
