Question
I HAVE A LUTINO LOVEBIRD FOR 5 MONTHS NOW. I BOUGHT IT WHEN IT WAS 7 WEEKS OLD. I AM NOT SURE IF IT IS MALE OR FEMALE. IT IS VERY TAME AND SITS WITH ME ME CONSTANTLY. WHEN WE BOUGHT IT, IT WAS EXTREMELY LIVELY AND LOVED PLAYING AND HAD A GREAT PERSONALITY. THE LAST FEW WEEKS IT HASNT MUCH INTEREST INPLAYING WITH ITS(MANY) TOYS AND SLEEPS ALOT MORE. IT HAS ALSO STARTED TO BITE WHENEVER I MOVE MY HAND/ARM ETC. IT IS A BIG CHANGE IN PERSONALITY OVER A 3 WEEK PERIOD. I WAS THINKING MAYBE IT IS BOREDOM OR SOMETHING? I WOULD BE GRATEFUL FOR ANY HELP

Answer
I think it could be something else like some sickness or something that happened.

It shows signs of fear for something or so.
Sometimes something like losing feathers could be it.

Beware that personality and behavior change at the moment they become older. In the different stages in live there is the need other things.

You could try some changes in case it is boredom.

Also be aware that changes in weather could and should affect the behavior of birds.
