A Lonely Dove

Question
Until Christmas time we kept a pair of white doves together in a fairly spacious Avery. Since one of the pair died. I worry that the remaining Dove seems melancholy, and is lonely.
We also have a mixed budgie cocktail Avery. I was wondering would it be possible to introduce the dove into the other Avery? do you think the round beaked birds  would attack the poor dove?

Hello Olivia and thank you for your post.
As long as there is plenty of room in the aviary, you should be able to put the Dove in with your other birds (although this is something that I usually don't recommend).  Just be sure to keep a watch on everybody, and at the first sign of trouble, remove the Dove.
