Questions on Parakeets

Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. The book on parakeets stated that when a parakeet is sick, it is highly recommended to shine a flashlight through her cage. Do you think this will help?

Hello again and thank you for your question,

If she is sick keeping her warm is very inportanat I suppose this is what the flashlight would be for, I would use a reptile heat lamp with a 25/40 watt bulb above her cage too keep her warm.... just be sure she doesnt get too hot.
