my parakeet is pink?

Jennifer, I got my parakeet sometime in may, and she has been doing wonderful, and she is very active, fun, and has no problem eating, pooping, etc. Anyway, in the past month or so her face has continued to grow pink, i have no idea what could have caused this, and was wondering if you have ever seen this before.

Is his a budgie your referring to? Are you talking about the cere? The fleshy part just above the beak and below the eyes? This part does change color and can help determine the sex of your bird. Blue means it's a boy, brown is a girl. If it looks pink or red and inflamed then this could be a symptom of an illness.
