my lovebird bitting me

Hi,
I have a question about lovebirds and im asking you becuase you are the only person that people can ask question to. I got my lovebird about 3 months ago from a pet store in Maryland and he doesn't like people because hes been stuck in a cage for quite a while. And i know people that can just put their hand in the cage and grab their bird well i cant do that. I try to do that and he just ends up making this wierd sqeaking noise and biting me and my finger,it starts to turn red. And i just wanted to know how to get my lovebird over this because it annoying not being able to hold my own bird. And answer me back please because i ask other people and they end up saying try to grab him. And i cant grab him beacuse he just bits me every try. Please answer me I NEED HELP WITH MY BIRD!!!!

The point is that this lovebird is not domesticated.
So "try to grabbing him" is not the answer, but that you know already.

All wild birds don't like humans. A specially if they are in too small cages. If the bird would become handtame it hard to tell. But you have to take small steps. So first try it with put a branch in the cage. Then a hand clove, then shortly a hand, without try to grab the bird.
