found bird

Hello!

This bird flew into our garage.  It doesn't fly well and it's so unusual looking I thought it might be someone's pet.  About the size of a pigeon, all white, long feathers over the feet, and a cresent moon shape on the back of the head.  Any ideas?  --  Amy

Hi Amy,

I'm not at all sure as to what bird you may have there.  I only keep budgies and canaries so I'm not very familiar with other birds.  It does sound as though it's likely to be a pet bird such as a cockatiel but without actually seeing it, I can't be sure.  Perhaps your local Vet could enlighten you.
