male or female???

Question
i have a pied budgie named "stormie" its about 2 and a half months old..when i bought him the person working in the pet shop said it was a male. When we first got stormie he had a pink and blue cere. but now it is turning white around the nostrils and blue. so im now confused if it is a female or male.
I also cant tame stormie. He just doesnt want to come out of his cage. He used to when i first got him but now he wont and i dont no why..
please help me!

Hello Rae,

Some people say the cere changes color because of age and some people say it's because of mating. I am unsure as to why, but you could ask around to some of the other experts. Most budgies don't adapt quickly at all. he/she just needs time to adjust. Trust me on that.
