broken foot

Question
What do I do if I think that my parakeet has a broken foot. We found this bird in our backyard and we took it in. I had two cockatiel and I though I could handle a parakeet too but it recently is in trouble. He bites my hand when ever I try to go close to him. I don't know what to do so any help would be great. And our veterinarian doesn't deal with birds

You'll need to take this bird to an avian veterinarian in order to find out if it's foot is broken and whether it can be mended if it is.  You'll need to find an exotic animal vet...one that treats snakes, reptiles, etc., and is certified in avian treatment.  Here's a website that might be able to help you find one:  www.aav.org
