Question
Hey my family and i have 5 love birds we have built them a huge enclosure and would really like to have more we are thinking about putting a nesting box in with them. if we do let them breed we would like to pull the chicks and hand raise them !!! we have not had experience with this but have done a lot of research and are willing to invest a lot of time and effort. we hope that hand raising the chicks will make them much more sociable and friendly. ideally we would like to pull only 1-2 chicks and have them bond with the family. we know this will be a lot of work but it will be worth it !!! we are looking for guidance do you have any  tips for use??? can we pull this off ???any info would help!!!!

Answer
Hello,
The only tip I can advise is make sure you do enough research! From what you told me, you seem to be ok!

If you want my opinion. Do not breed. There are thousands of birds always being put up for adoption..and breeding more birds will just leave the others behind.

Why don't you just adopt a hand-fed bird?

Good luck!
