Question
i have a pair of love birds that had laid eggs is it best to let them take care of the feeding or should i take care of the feeding for them or is it possible to do the feeding both ways and still have the babies tame please i would like to know i only have a week to  get things in order and get ready for the babies first time doing this so i like  to be prepared to do so thanks

Answer
I would let your love birds take care of the feeding for the first 2 weeks and at 14 days old remove the chicks from the parents and begin hand feeding.

In my experience hand feeding works very well starting from this age, just remember you will need to get a baby bird brooder to keep them warm after you remove them from the parents and begin hand feeding them yourself.

Happy Holidays!
