5 house finch eggs only two babies in the nest

i went from five blue finch eggs and saw five fluffy babies in the nest but today i went to the nest held up a mirror and only saw two finch babies that are quite big with wings now. what happened to the other 3 i am very sad. this nest is on a wreath on my porch that is very deep so storms are not able to destroy the nest. thank you.

You don't say how old the babies are but at about 10 days they jump out of the nest. They can't fly but parents will feed them on the ground until they can. Since you saw two finch babies that are quite big with wings, I bet that's what happened - three of them left. Everything seems perfectly normal.
