Hi, I have two mares 6 weeks away from foaling, just wondering if there is any way to tell if the foals are in the correct presentation for birthing?

Hi Ros,
          It is still to early to find out if the foals are in the correct position About a week to 10 days, prior to foaling a Vet can sometimes tell if the foal is in the correct presentation. In many mares, it is during the first stage of labor, that a mare's contractions move the foal through the cervix and into position in the birth canal.
