QUESTION: sorry bryan im asking do you think she is pregnant.the vet thinks a strong possibility.i am getting conflicting advice.previous owner said colt got to her sister and shes pregnant. is it possible my mare is having a phantom pregnancy by coming to me and vet said new grass and surroundings can do this .to be positive he would do blood test.have you had experience of this kind regards elaine

Answer
Sorry, Now I understand. I have had false pregnancies before, but normally when a mare was bred, but did not take. . I have also had a POA that we did not have a clue she was pregnant until she delivered a new foal. I recommend an ultrasound. That, or a blood test would confirm.
