is my mare in foal

hello.i put my mare to the stallion in late january this year.she has started to be really aware about her tummy and has turned nasty against her best pal.a gelding in her paddock.i have felt behind her ribs and i think i can feel the foal move.she is a bit bigger and tighter.is this a sign that she is in foal.thanx

This is not the method used to learn if your mare is pregnant.  A veterinarian can do an ultrasound to make sure your mare is not carrying twins, which would be bad and to make sure both mare and foal are doing well. The fact that she is becoming aggressive towards the gelding is an indication that she may be pregnant but your best bet is to have a vet check her.
