what age is too old to consider breeding a mare?

Hi Chris,
          If the mare has foaled before, is in good shape and has not had complications during foaling then she can be bred into her 20's. If she is a maiden then the oldest I would breed her for the first time is 15. It is a good idea to have a vet do a reproductive exam before hand.
