QuestionMy horse is 18. she has had one foal, that i know of. i want to breed her when she turns 19. i want to know if that is to late, and what are her risks?
AnswerHi Stephanie,
Since she has only had that one foal, then I would suggest that you do not breed her. She could be very difficult to get into foal, could lose the foal and/or could even die during foaling. If you really want a foal out of her, then you can look into embryo transplant.
