Paint Overo to Tobiano Fox Trotter

Hi Lisa-Thanks for your previous info. My farrier wants to send me his paint mare(liver overo 50/50 color)to cross with my blk/wht 50/50 Missouri Fox Trotter. Is there any concern for a lethal white? I've only dealt with tobianos. Also what will the color classfication be/ Tovero? Thanks again for your expertise...Lin

Hi Lin,
         Yes, your horse would have a chance of having a Lethal white foal. You can have a test done to make sure that his mare does not carry the gene.
