boa help!

Hi i have a beautiful red tail boa, only problem is he likes to stay hidden under his bedding, so theres no beauty to be seen!!  Is this normal?  i even have a place for him to hide if he wants but he still burys himself under the bedding!

Hi Chris.
First of all that is normal for your boa to want to hide under the bedding.  But if you want to see him more often I would recommend using the Repti-sand because that way he won't bury himself.  Just keep it about 1/2 inch to an inch deep.  Or if you prefer to keep using your bedding just keep it really shallow so he won't be able to cover himself completely when he tries to bury.  Hope this helped and thanks for writing :-)
