Question
I was wonder what are the risks of having two different sized snakes in the same cage i have a 4' ball and she is as nice as nice can be but i also have some ball babies which have shed a couple of times and are eating but they are a little under or 1' so i was wondering would it hurt or would there be any real risks of have the 4' and the babies in the same cage?

Answer
Hello Ethan,

There are no risks involved when housing snakes of different sizes together. The only thing that would deter myself from housing babies and a four foot ball together is the possibilty of suffocation. Ball pythons tend to ball up together no matter what size they are. I would keep them separate at least until the babies are around two foot.

Hope this helps,
