shedding

I have a 8 month old red tail boa, and here recently she has started this thing that when she sheds,she will shed all but about an inch piece on her tail.whch i then have to wet and peel off.i have seen alot of boas do this.but is there anything that can fix it?

  The best way to fix this is to raise the overall humidity a bit in her enclosure. Mist her a couple times per day, especially on that area. Additionally, you can use mineral oil, just on that small section, if she continues to have issues shedding.
