Bearded Dragon hibernation

Question
When they are hibernating, do the food necessities change, and if so, exactly how many greens/insects do they need? I have an adult(foot and a half long, including tail) female orange-colored dragon. Thank you!

Answer
If you're cooling your dragon, then you shouldn't feed it--they can't properly digest food when the temperatures are too low.  Make sure their gut is empty before you cool them.  If the dragon is brumating, then it will not lose weight quickly, even though it isn't eating.  Track weight carefully.  (You can use an inexpensive kitchen scale that has a gram function--reptiles are weighed in grams).
