Question
Ok, so I turned off his coiled bulb uv light and have him basking in natural sun light. However, his eyes are still closed and now his mouth is wide open. He has his mouth open a lot so I hope that's normal. He just went number2 and it was a lot so I thought he'd feel better now, but he's still not active. It's only his 5th day with me and normally by this time of day he's eaten approx 7 crickets but he's only had one! He doesn't even acknowledge there's still a tiny cricket crawling around in his cage. I'm worried he's dying and there's no vets open today on Sunday.  Please please help me. He's my first baby ever and I don't want to forsake him!

Answer
If you put his tank in the sunlight the glass is raising the temperatures too much and he's too hot.  He'll be okay for a couple of days with only a basking light till you get the proper bulb, and tomorrow, call the reptile vet for an appointment.  His eyes should be checked to see if any damage was done.  Don't leave crickets in his tank overnight and give him his salad ground to a mush, mix with baby food butternut squash and dab his snout with it, it should make him lap at it, this way he'll get some nutrition into him till he's treated by the vet.
