Question
After my beardie got done sheding. I noticed that a lot of his colors are actually orange instead of brown. When I first got him I saw he has some orange circle type patterns. Like two orange racing strips down the sides of his spin. On his face he has a bit of orange/red as well. The dark patterns on him looked brown tho. After he shed his legs still have a brownish color, but his arms have red stripes instead of brown. Is it possible that I got a color morphed beardie? I can submit a picture if need be.

Answer
Hi Will,
Its very possible... Many times, people that breed and sell to pet stores, or even to private parties, have no idea as to what genetics are with beardies.  They breed, just to breed with no concern to colors, size, health, genetics.. Think of it as back yard breeders.  They have a male and a female..that's all they care about..they don't even care if they are clutch mates, full brother sister from different clutches, or offspring to parent. Its also why you see so many beardies that are smaller than they should be and more health problems crop up.
Your beardie sounds like he is going to be just gorgeous in color!!!!
