African Fat-tailed Gecko

Question
when the care sheets say that the temp during the day should be at least 82-90 degrees and 75-82 degrees at night, does this mean our day and night or the geckos day and night. since they are nocturnal would they need more heat at night for them to be active, or what/  i am just a confused gecko owner.  thank you for time.

thank you for your question.
Day temperature means our day. The gecko will probably come out to bask during the late afternoon and can still warm up on the tank furniture that stores the heat for a while. Slate is for example great for that purpose, but other kind of stones are also good.
