Bearded dragon might be dehydrated.

Question
QUESTION: He is eating very well. Usually goes through 10-15 crickets twice a day. Also I give him a wax worm every other day or so. Depending on how he was when holding him. I noticed that his sides have a lot of wrinkles. It seems that there is not enough there to fill it up. After he eats it usally goes back to normal, but then it goes back to that. I spray him in the morning, and later at night if I notice he still is like that. I have a large glass bowl for him to sit in, and another that has just a bit of water in it. I make sure to spray his veggies with water, but somedays he eats his veggies, and some days he doesn't. I just got him a Reptisun 10.0 UVB flourscent tube and have a 75 watt basking light in a ceramic fixture. His tank is 18" tall. I try to let a few drops of water roll down the front of his face, but he won't drink it. Also I tried using a syrienge (with no needle) to get him to drink, but he'll taste it then won't try anymore. I try giving him a bath every other day. He licks the water to taste it, and then doens't touch it again. I am worried he isn't getting enough water.

ANSWER: Hi Will,
Water is a problem with many of the reptiles.  You can try flavoring the water, especially in the syringe. You can use some babyfood juice such as the apple...or you can even use Gatorade to flavor the water.  You want to just barely flavor the water with the juice or gatorade. Also, if he likes fruits, watermelon is a good choice for adding water to their diet.  Even to use it as a treat when holding him to offer it by hand.  When he is bathing...twy moving the water around to get his interest.  You are doing everything right with what you are doing to get the water into him.

QUESTION: Would chopping up a cantalope/melon also work for him?

ANSWER: Hi Will,
Yes, those are also fine...the watermelon is just more water but if he likes the other melon, that's good too.  Also, another trick is to spray the greens with the juice..also, many dragons enjoy some 12 grain or wheat bread soaked in water or juice.  You don't want to offer much of it(1/4 slice,no crust, for an adult) or often....as a treat only.

QUESTION: Thank you. I blended it down to a pulp. Then gave him some. He gobled it up. Also I poured the juice over his vegetables, and he ate all the vegetables I put in there for him. I noticed tho. I tried to do the syringe with a bit of the juice mixed with water. He drank a bit, and then started rubbing his snot into my hand. What causes that?

Answer
Hi Will,
I am soo glad when things work out!! We have success!!!
Not sure why he would rub his nose ...possibly some got in his nose from inside his mouth...
I wouldn't' worry about that..just be sure not to push the water into his mouth too fast..more of a drop at a time so he has time to get it swallowed.  Sometimes with the reptiles they forget to swallow when they get water in their mouth in a way that isn't natural for them.
