Weird gecko noise

QUESTION: My mom picked up my small leopard gecko by its stomach with two fingers and he made this noise and it seems like he was terrified.Also my gecko has this big lump sticking out right under his mouth what should i do im scared.

Did he get injured somehow?  Could you post a picture of the lump please, that would help alot.
How small is he?
Do you leave crickets in the tank with him?  
When you pick up a leopard gecko you want to pick up his entire body supporting his tail.  Otherwise, they can "bark" which basically just voices their displeasure at being picked up incorrectly.

Please send a picture of the lump please.  Is it hard or soft?

QUESTION: The picture should tell you how small she is.There are only dead mealworms in her cage.I dont know if she got injured.

ANSWER: Hello Liv,

Did you send a picture?  I did not see one attached.
She will not eat dead mealworms, only live.  It is not a good idea to feed dead mealworms as they could be diseased or something & could make her sick.  
Is there anything in her tank that she could have fallen off of or anything sharp in there?
What type of substrate do you use?
What is your setup like?  Are you using an undertank heater along with a low wattage basking light on the warm end?  There needs to be a hot spot of around 88-90 & a cooler end of around 78-82.
If you have a loose substrate such as sand, please take it out as it will impact your gecko badly.  Change to paper towels, felt, or non adhesive shelf liner.

Let me know how she is doing.

Leopard gecko   QUESTION: Sorry at first i couldn't find the attach image button but i did so ill so you a picture.My leopard gecko does eat the dead mealworms but for a treat i buy crickets.Twice i was putting her back in her cage and she jumped landing on her plastic container.I have like repto carpet i think and i have an under tank heater but i have a plastic cage so i have to keep it on the side.The bump is kind of hard not really though but this picture should help you.

How is she doing today?
Wow that is a strange little lump & it is a little hard too?  How long has she had that lump?
Are they dried dead mealies?  Good she still needs crickets too.
When she landed after jumping, did she hit her mouth or throat on anything.
Do you think that she is staying warm enough?
