Question
How many crickets should a baby leopard gecko eat a day and how meal worms should they a day

Answer
Dear Luis,
thank you for your question.
I would offer at least 10 crickets every day, if the gecko eats all those immediately, you can offer even more. Mealworms should not be fed daily because they are very fatty, I would give them only once a week at the most. Try offering other insects as well: locusts, roaches, silkworms (alive or dried) waxworms (also very fatty), roly-polies (woodlice) or flies. Fly larvae are sold as fishing bait, keep them in the fridge and put 10 or so in a box outside to get them to pupate and hatch into adult flies. To make them slow, put them in the fridge again for 5 minutes or so.
Adult geckos should only be fed twice a week or you offer small portions of one or two insects every day.
I hope I was of some help to you
Jennifer
