seriously sick beardie

ok so i got a bearded dragon. he is lethargic and only moves
to take a breath. he has a slight purplish tinge under his
eyes and at the back of his bottom jaw. he seems to have
problems pooping. any help?

Hello Tom,

Did you get him from a pet store?  Boy you are off to a rough start.
It sounds like he could be impacted from being kept on sand at the store.  Is his beard black at all?
Could you post a picture of him?
What type of setup are you using, such as the type & brand of UVB light?  If you use a UVB light, is it a fluorescent tube bulb or a compact/coil light?
What type of basking light are you using?
