my leopard gecko has many scars

Hi Diane my Gecko has many scars and i think it is caused by the super worms that he didn't eat that has turned to beetles. I found 8 beetles on the aquarium and 3 beetles biting hi. What should i do to take care of him.

Hi Adam,
Are they healed bites or fresh bites? If recent bites that are not healed, you can sue Neosporin ointment on the bites. If any are oozing, infected or otherwise do not look right, he does need to see a vet.
To help prevent more bites be sure to only feed as many insects as your leo will eat in about 15 minutes...this means you have to watch him eat..then, remove any uneaten insects.  Since spot cleanings should be done at least daily on your leos tank, any uneaten insects should be found at that time..even weekly cleanings will find the escaped insects.  it takes time for a meal worm to go from a worm to the beetle so regular cleaning of your leos tank is important.
You should always have a cut, raw potato (never allow it to get old/moldy/rotten) in the tank at all times so that any insects that have been missed by your leo, or you on your tank cleanings/etc will nibble on the potato instead of your leo.
