Question
How much does a normal size snake eat? Are most snakes poisonous? How long can a snake grow up to? What are the snakes behavior to anything?

Answer
Hi Wilbec,
Snakes eat in relation to it's size. A 3 foot snake would eat  a couple of mice a week. An 6 foot snake would  eat a rat a week and a 20 foot snake would eat 4 large rabbits every 2 weeks. This is in captivity. In the wild it all depend on what it was able to get. Avery large snake might eat  a pig and nothing more for almost a year.

Most snakes are non venomous and harmless. The exception to this is Australia where most of the snakes are very venomous. This also applies to most of southern Asia and India as well.

Some snakes like Anacondas and Pythons can grow to over 25 feet in length. I have some pet Burmese Pythons that are 18 feet.

Snakes can be very docile in captivity. Snakes in the wild will do anything to avoid confrontations and will hide when danger comes close. They move around to eat and drink as well as find a mate, otherwise they find a good hiding place and remain there. They prefer to live alone and are not sociable animals. Hope this helps.
