Bearded dragon sounds?

Hello,

My bearded dragon recently started making a sort of hissing sound, as if he's forcing air rapidly out of his mouth. His beard spreads a little bit when he makes the sound. I'm worried it might be some sort of respiratory problem. He's a little over two years old, and this is the first time I've heard him make any kind of vocal sound. Is this natural? He doesn't really appear to be in distress, but I don't think he's hissing at anything in particular, either.

Kate,                                                                  It may be just a territorial thing....If you are not handling him enough. I wouldn't worry too much. If his breathing really seems to be getting labored or he has any mucous coming from his nose take him to a vet immediately..Good Luck,Tina
