HELP MY GECKO, PLEASE!

Can you help me? We recently got some new some for our 3 year old Leopard Gecko. Since we have gotten to sand, he feet have turned a red color, and it looks painful. I don't know if they've gotten 'dyed' from the sand, or if it's a disease, or if it's something in the sand. Please Help me.

thank you for your question.
If you have red desert type sand, it's probably from that and the whole gecko might turn a slightly red shade.
If you have normal coloured sand, I recommend seeing a vet to rule out anything medical.
