bearded dragon not moving

My daughter's bearded dragon not moving ,he's lifeless except every once and awhile he opens his mouth real wide but thats all the movement he makes.

That does not sound good at all.  How long has he been like this for?
How old is he?  
Can you tell me more about his setup such as his lighting, temperatures, and foods?

Honestly, it sounds like agonal breathing, which means end term stages of life.  Their breathing becomes erratic in this manner, very shallow, with a lot of mouth breathing.  

Are his eyes open?
